Born to Be Wild at AMNH

Baby elephants and orangutans are cute in any circumstance, so seeing them on an IMAX simply magnifies the adorableness by a factor of, roughly, 62 billion. Born to Be Wild features two animal sanctuaries in Kenya and Borneo, as well as the women who founded the places and continue to run them. The care given to the animals includes rubbing sunblock on delicate elephant ears, tucking them in at night with blankets, washing squirming monkeys, bottle-feeding, and, above all, preparing to release the creatures back into the wild.
