After the Storm, the Sun

Like so many New Yorkers, we lost power, water, and heat as a result of Hurricane Sandy. Unlike so many New Yorkers, our power, water, and heat are back, the Hudson River has receded from our streets and nearby basements, and our lives are slowly returning to normal. We loved the city during this mess, and we love it now, after the storm, as the sun shines onto our cat. Our thoughts are with those who suffered and are continuing to suffer. Here are some ways you can help: volunteer, go out to eat, donate blood --- just heart New York however you can.
