Korzo Haus
Some days, only a burger will do, a big, juicy burger, cooked just this side of medium rare, stuffed in a langoš, or Hungarian fried bread made from a family recipe, smothered in hot pepper aioli and iceberg slaw, served with sweet potato fries dipped in housemade beet ketchup. Thankfully, on those days, and every other day, there's Korzo Haus, a burger and beer restaurant with a Central European bent off of Tompkins Square Park. Adorable side note: the owners met as second graders in what was then Czechoslovakia.
