Kelso

One of the uncountable number of sub-freezing weekends this winter was made a little warmer for us by a visit to Kelso, a friendly, low-key Caribbean restaurant in Crown Heights. A plate of frituras, a heaping pile of arroz con pollo, and a serving of zesty camarones calipso took away, even if only for an hour, to a place where layers were unheard of and scarves purely decorative.
