Leandro Erlich's Swimming Pool at P.S. 1

Leandro Erlich specializes in "emotional architecture," or the construction of space or structure such that it produces, tweaks, upsets, or enhances feelings and sensations. His installation currently on view at MoMA's P.S. 1 does all of the above: at first glance it looks like a regular old swimming pool that just happens to be inside a museum. Down a short flight of stairs, though, and you can walk beneath the "pool," which is actually just a few feet of water suspended between glass. It's an illusion! And also a reminder, of the way the mind constantly strives to see what's not really there.

this was the only piece in the museum that i liked.
We love the space, but, yeah, the exhibits can be hit or miss.
