The above cholado from Aqui Colombia Antojitos in Queens looks OK, right? Well, it's not OK. It's freakin' amazing. A combination of crushed ice, strawberries, mangoes, coconut, condensed milk known as lechera, oranges, pineapple, and flavored syrups, this version of the popular Colombian drink required both a straw and spoon to dominate. And dominate it we did, huddling on a street corner to slurp up its sweetness --- we couldn't bear to walk and eat at the same time --- ready to snarl at anyone who came too close.
