Egidio Pastry Shop

Famous for its cannoli --- which are certainly good, but can't beat our current favorite --- the Egidio Pastry Shop in Belmont has another dessert that we like even better. The cartoccio alla crema combines the filling of a traditional cannolo with a sugar donut, making a treat so gooey sweet that you can't help but wonder why anyone ever left the old country.
