Little Free Library

At the Little Free Library, you can take a book or leave a book --- no cost, no cards, no glowering librarians telling you to ssshhhh. In just three years, LFL has created or sponsored more than 5,000 book re/depositories around the world, including this one at the corner of East Houston and the Bowery. All told, there are 10 LFLs in NYC, a joint project between PEN World Voices Festival and The Architectural League of New York.
