FDR Four Freedoms Park

To get to FDR Four Freedoms Park, you can either take the subway or the Roosevelt Island Tram, which lifts you high above midtown and the East River. The park reminded us of those concrete-and-steel monoliths we saw in Moscow, monuments to influential leaders (or ideals) long departed. Make of that whatever you will, but you can't beat the views.
