Os Gêmeos Mural on Houston

In a few weeks this huge mural by two Brazilian street artists known as "Os Gêmeos" (twins, in Portuguese) will be taken down, no doubt replaced by an ad for H&M or Reebok. Until it disappears, though, everyone who walks or drives along Houston (near the Bowery) can bask in the warm, easeful glow of this fantastical world, where creatures smile, wearing wheels in their hair and houses on their shirts, where no one is trying to sell us anything.
