Foodaissance at the James Beard House

According to our pal Donny Tsang, who co-writes Eat to Blog with our friend Howard, we're living in the middle of a Foodaissance. His photo project of the same name seeks to document the folks behind the food, the faces that make the cakes, pies, pops, ice cream, pretzels, pizza, and other artistanal, small batch goodies coming out of Brooklyn. Last night we attended the opening of Donny's exhibition at the James Beard House's Greenhouse Gallery, where we snacked on caramels from Liddabit Sweets and marveled at Mr. Beard's fully mirrored bathroom. The photos were pretty great too.
