Best Pizza
Is Williamsburg's Best Pizza the best pizza? Well, no . . . but a meatball and garlic was pretty gosh darn good, thin and droopy and chewy in all the right places.
We don't usually think about restaurants in terms of gender, but something about this one --- the rap on the radio, followed by the heavy metal; the poster of a thinly clad young lady in medieval garb in the bathroom; the crudely drawn paper plates on the ceiling; the elaborate hand signs among the pizza makers --- made us think that Best Pizza would be a teenage boy, if it had to be something. And thus "Dude Pizza" might be the more accurate name.
