Behold the carnie pie at the Blue Stove, a lovely little pie-and-coffee shop in Twin Peaks Williamsburg. Chocolate mousse, caramel, whipped cream, peanuts, and chocolate drizzle combine in bites that are alternately dense and light, crunchy and creamy, tasty and delicious.

As you devour you're Carnie Pie, sit by the window and also enjoy the bird's eye view of the former 'Motion Lounge' right across the street (it's now an architect's office with handicap acccess). Before the Age of Hipsters, this is where Sonny Black danced the nights away while his lion cub slept in the basement at night. Someone please cue The Tokens ..... "A-Wimboweh". The owner of Blue Stove used to have a copy of "Donnie Brasco" sitting on the shelf behind her cash register, until she wisely took it down.
