Boyhood at Hawks with Babies

What better way to introduce our son to the joys of movies than by taking him to a screening of Boyhood at Nitehawk Cinema's Hawks with Babies? This outstanding movie tells the story of a child named Mason as he grows into a young man through a series of seemingly real-time moments (the movie was shot over 12 years). Though fiction, the movie has the feel of a documentary; though about a boy, it tells a universal story of how we become ourselves, slowly and meanderingly, with dips, dings, and divets taken out by events both major and mundane.
