NYcityVan

Moving day: so exciting (new house! new neighborhood!), yet so fraught with potential for mishap (too many to list). The last time we hired movers they got into an accident on the way over, then broke our toilet and traumatized our cat. It was --- let's just say --- not pretty.


But NYcityVan was great. Really great. So great we decided to do a post about them. So great we're trying to convince friends to move just to give these guys more business. The three-person crew arrived wearing ironic tees and Sally Jesse–style glasses, but there the indie stereotypes stopped. They worked efficiently, considerately, and strategically, finishing 90 minutes faster than they'd originally estimated, with nary a broken bathroom in sight.
