Ida at the AMNH

A cast of Ida, the incredible newly-reconstructed type specimen of Darwinius masillae, is on display at the American Museum of Natural History. After 47 million years, fur outlines and stomach contents are still visible along with 95% of her bones, making Ida one of the more extraordinary finds in recent memory, and the cast another great addition to an already wondrous museum.
